Why breeders couldn't access these warehouses
The warehouses that distribute these well-known brands operate on strict commercial terms. To open a wholesale account with them, you need a fully incorporated business, an active GST/HST number registered with the CRA, proof of a commercially zoned brick-and-mortar retail storefront, and the ability to meet minimum order volumes sized for retail chains — which most individual breeders do not have.
These requirements exist because the system was designed around large retail operations. They weren't intended to accommodate the independent breeder who breeds three species out of a dedicated room, or the hobbyist running a serious collection. Those people were simply never part of the model.
As a result, the breeders who often care most about their animals — and who have the most to gain from access to consistent, high-quality product — have historically been the ones with no direct path to get it.

We launched this program to break down the barriers between commercial warehouses and the independent breeder. We did the heavy lifting — setting up the corporate structure, CRA registrations, and bulk supply relationships — specifically to open up access for the people who were always excluded from the traditional distribution system.
The breeders we work with aren't casual hobbyists looking for a large discount. They are professionals and dedicated keepers producing high-quality animals for communities across Ontario, and taking reptile husbandry seriously enough to care exactly what goes into their setups.
This program exists because the breeding community deserves direct access to premium brands previously only available to established retail pet stores. We opened this program to ensure you have a reliable, permanent path to get it.
How it works
You get the exact same commercial SKUs, brands, and premium quality that ship to major pet stores — just without the heavy retail markup. By eliminating traditional retail overhead and shipping costs, we ensure you keep your operational margins as high as possible.
Because we partner with multiple businesses across the industry, our catalog goes beyond standard branded retail items. We also offer shipping supplies and frozen/live feeders, with all feeders sourced directly from your fellow breeders to support the local community.
To keep things highly efficient and cost-effective, this program is exclusively for breeders located in Ontario. We do not currently offer shipping. Instead, we coordinate directly with you to meet in person for product exchange, ensuring your supplies arrive safely without added delivery fees.
We keep the transaction process straightforward and adaptable to your wants. Payments can be made in person during the hand-off, or via any other method that works best for you.
